Almouj Golf and Mercedes-Benz Oman Renew Partnership for Fifth Consecutive Year
“Almouj Golf is proud to once again join forces with Mercedes-Benz Oman. It is a relationship that epitomises our vision of bringing together the best in luxury and sport to deliver an outstanding experience for golfers, and our members in particular. We are firmly committed to growing the game of golf locally, continuously seeking ways to enhance our service offering, and we’re pleased of Mercedes-Benz Oman’s support on this journey,” said Mubarak Hill, Almouj Golf Club Manager.
Commenting on this partnership, Mercedes-Benz Oman CEO, Clive Hammond, remarked: “It is hard to think of another sport as exciting and multifaceted as golf. Like our exceptional Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it is a balanced mix of sporting perfection, excitement, passion, technical excellence and exclusivity, and ideally compliments our philosophy of ‘The Best or Nothing’. We look forward to continuing to enjoy the many superb possibilities our partnership with the exceptional Almouj Golf gives us.”
During the coming year, collaborations between the two luxury lifestyle icons will include quarterly exclusive golf events with the Mercedes-Benz Members Guest Series and the Mercedes-Benz Matchplay Championships that will culminate with the finals at the end of the season. In addition, Almouj Golf will offer a range of benefits and promotions to Mercedes-Benz owners.
Mercedes-Benz is proud of its long-standing involvement not just in the sport of golf, but in the game’s legendary tournaments, including the Masters, The Open Championship and the PGA Championship. Each year these events produce incredible displays of power, precision and control – qualities close to the heart of Mercedes-Benz and are also reflected in the outstanding performance of Mercedes-Benz golf brand ambassadors, such as Martin Kaymer, Louis Oosthuizen and Bernhard Langer. Mercedes-Benz also supports a multiplicity of amateur and professional tournaments at the national level, among them the Dubai Desert Classic, the Alfred Dunhill Links, the Northern Trust Open and the Talisker Australian Masters. Impacting on the amateur game is The Mercedes Trophy, a tournament in its 22nd year, which attracts 60,000 amateur golfers from over 60 countries annually.
