The Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupé

Motorsport technology catapults the GLE Coupé to the first row on the starting grid. Breathtaking greetings from Affalterbach: the uncompromisingly sporty Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupé with a V8 biturbo engine plus the further-sharpened S-Model (illustrated here) with 430 kW (585 hp) and a maximum torque of 760 Nm. Hungry for curves: the Mercedes-AMG models exclusively boast performance-oriented, rear-biased 40 : 60 power distribution.

Charged with our best ideas: The engines.

Characteristically for AMG, the heart of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 4MATIC Coupé is the engine, a 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine with an output of 410 kW (557 hp), 700 Nm of torque (Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC Coupé: 430 kW (585 hp) and 760 Nm) plus a turbocharger providing an immediate response.

An optimum conversion of output into tractive power is facilitated by the automatic transmission AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC with barely perceptible shift times for extremely sporty power transmission.

Emotional intelligence: the AIRMATIC package.

With the Adaptive Damping System ADS PLUS, the air suspension AIRMATIC – available as standard or an option depending on the engine – reduces road roar and tyre vibration characteristics, whilst also ensuring excellent driving dynamics. The damping at each wheel is adapted to the driving situation and road surface condition.
