The exterior: pure energy.
Long hood and a passenger compartment repositioned far to the rear – the Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 shows characteristic race car attributes. In the front, the steep radiator front with diamond grille, front splitter in silver chrome and front apron in A-wing design reflects the expressive AMG styling. The silhouette continues the sporty styling with details like air inlets with fins in silver chrome. The AMG characteristic rugged rear with diffuser-look and AMG sports exhaust system with chromium-plated tailpipe trims provides a perfect finish.
The interior: perfection in every detail.
The interior shows the same stylistic continuity as the exterior of the Mercedes-AMG SLC 43. Every detail conveys functionality, aesthetics and enjoyment. Sports seats with AMG nappa leather/DINAMICA microfiber upholstery with red piping and topstitching ensure perfect lateral support. Always in sight: the AMG instrument cluster panel with RACETIMER and a 280 km/h scale in checkered flag design. One grip of the optional AMG Performance steering wheel with flattened bottom and red contrasting stitching – and everything is ready to chase curves. It's your turn.
With an independently developed AMG front and rear axle, the AMG sports suspension boasts the ideal attributes for fast cornering speeds and agile handling. All of the components are matched to provide high lateral acceleration and a reduced body roll tendency. A conventional steel suspension is used, which has been optimized for sporty driving. In conjunction with the increased camber rigidity and larger negative camber compared with the standard suspension, driving stability and steering precision are guaranteed right up to the critical limits.
The engine: power.
The 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine stands out for its state-of-the-art injection technology and mixture formation, resulting in maximum power combined with low fuel consumption and pollutant emissions. Delivering 270 kW (367 hp) and 520 Nm, the V6 unit sets new standards for Driving Performance in its segment – underlined by a 0-100 km/h acceleration of breathtaking 4.7 seconds.
